Pumpkin Pie Hummus

Pumpkin Pie Hummus… That’s right! This Hummus is such an indulgent and healthy snack that you don’t have to feel guilty for enjoying. If you love pumpkin pie then I think this hummus may be just what you need for that mid day snack.

Hummus doesn’t have to be boring and this recipe is going to prove it. Filled with holiday spices, pumpkin pie hummus will make a great center piece for your next holiday event.

The Recipe

This recipe is incredibly easy and takes less than 10 minutes to put together. Plus it tastes like pumpkin pie!

Ingredients

  • 1 tin (540ml) Chickpeas Drained

  • 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar (optional)

  • 3 Tbsp Tahini

  • 2 Tbsp Canola oil

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp ginger

  • small pinch of ground clove

  • small pinch of salt

Directions

  1. This one’s super easy! Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and blitz until hummus becomes as smooth as you’d like.

  2. Scrape down the sides and blend again, as needed.

  3. Serve with your favourite fruits, biscuits, granola or nuts.

Bonus Tip!!!

  • Spices can be substituted with 2 tsp of pumpkin spice if that’s all you have.

  • Makes a great appetizer spread on graham crackers and topped with ingredients like chocolate, nuts, marshmallows and granola.
